Annabelle Davis Centre
I am delighted that I am a patron for the Young Peoples Counselling Service (YPCS). A child counselling charity committed to providing one-to-one sessions with fully qualified counsellors.
I'm honoured to support YPCS as they develop 'The Annabelle Davis Centre'. The work they do for young people within the community is amazing, and is very much needed.
The media's influence on young people today makes growing up far more challenging. Judgemental social media promotes ideas of perfection, instilling ideas of inadequacy and causing anxiety in young people through no fault of their own.
The centre allows the YPCS to help even more individuals. It provides a safe place for young people to talk, and realise that they are not alone.
To help decorate the Annabelle Davis Centre, I have donated several artworks. As the centre logo is a lighthouse, a beacon of hope, I went for an under the sea theme. The original oil paintings can be found in the centre itself whilst prints are available here, on my website. I am donating £1 from each sale of these prints to the YPCS.
